Propeller Club Port of Mobile February Luncheon

Join us for our February luncheon February 18 at 12 noon at The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel.

The luncheon will feature speaker Cai Unger, PhD, who will share an overview of AM/NS Calvert. The discussion will include how metal is made, shipped, major end users and future growth/needs.

Unger is the Director of Internal Logistics at AM/NS Calvert in Mobile, AL, where he oversees all intraplant transportation needs with a team of 350 employees. With extensive experience in steel production and logistics, Cai has held various leadership roles, including Area Manager of Cold Roll Mill Operations and McKinsey Change Agent. Fluent in multiple languages, he has a diverse background in supply chain, mergers and acquisitions, and continuous improvement. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Alabama, teaching courses in Management and Supply Chain. Cai holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of South Alabama and a Master’s in Economics from the University of Cologne, Germany. Cai is married, father of a 3.5 year old and enjoys sailing and diving on the Gulf Coast.
