Propeller Club Port of Canaveral Networking Happy Hour

On Thursday, February 24 we will be holding a Networking Happy Hour at Rising Tide Tap & Table, Port Canaveral from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  This event is to Welcome our New Members,  Thank our Returning Members, and extend an invitation to Come Out and Learn More to Prospective Members.  Admission is free and we will have free appetizers.  Please register online at this link to receive your free drink ticket and help us get a head count for the event:  Networking Happy Hour  Bring a colleague or friend and introduce them to the club!

PROPELLER CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS

The Propeller Club is now accepting applications for the 2022 scholarships for graduating Brevard High School students who have been accepted to post-secondary education in a maritime-related field including maritime law or law enforcement, a federal or state maritime academy, marine sciences and engineering, maritime vocational/technical training, or maritime related transportation and logistics programs. Public school students should use the application process at the Brevard Schools Foundation online portal at this link: https://brevardschoolsfoundation.awardspring.com. Private school students should email propellerclubcanaveral@gmail.com for an application. Students should talk to their high school counselors for more information or help with the application. There will be one $2500 recurring scholarship and three $1000 scholarships awarded. Apply by March 23, 2022.  Candidates must reside in Brevard County, and be a permanent Florida Resident. Applicants must have at least a 2.75 GPA and must submit one letter of recommendation with the application. Students must submit a 250-500 word essay outlining education and career goals and how they relate to the maritime industry.
