Please join us at this month’s general meeting, where Adam Kulaas, Director of
Innovative Learning & CTE, Tacoma Public Schools will talk to us about the new
South Puget Sound Maritime Skills Center currently under development.

With a lifetime spent in education reform, Adam has held positions of teacher, coach, and
school administrator across kindergarten through 12th grade. Prior to Adam’s return to Tacoma,
he served as Vice President of Learning Design at Getting Smart, an educational design firm
based in the Pacific Northwest. During this time, he led national and global engagements that
spanned all elements of innovations in learning. Adam is an avid writer with countless published
works and delivers engaging keynotes to education and industry alike.
